We’re hiring our Founding PR Director.

This is a founding role - not an account manager gig.

As our first LEO PR Director, you’ll lead campaigns for ambitious early clients, build systems from the ground up, and work directly with the founder to turn LEOPRD into the go-to name in modern communications.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead campaign strategy and delivery across a small but varied client base, which spans tech, lifestyle, wellness and personal brand.
  • Help evolve our LEO methodology, technology and delivery playbooks
  • Write best-in-class media releases, media materials, pitches, bylines, opinion pieces, and LinkedIn content
  • Secure top-tier media across AU, UK and global verticals (tech, business, consumer, lifestyle)
  • Manage and brief junior team members, freelancers, and agentic systems
  • Translate earned media into measurable SEO and LLM visibility outcomes
  • Track KPIs across backlinks, keyword rankings, and AI-generated citations
  • Collaborate with SEO partners

You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of PR, comms or journalism experience – ideally from top agencies, publishers, or fast-growth startups
  • Proven ability to land earned media across multiple verticals
  • Demonstrated success with data-led or insight-driven campaigns
  • Understanding of how to collaborate with and deliver for multiple stakeholders including clients, publishers, contributors and internal teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of data and creative research tools and resources that can be harnessed to produce best-in-class campaigns and story angles
  • Creative flair in content and campaign development for digital and real-world performance
  • Direct contacts with relevant commercial decision makers at brands
  • Experience of performance marketing, acquisition and affiliate marketing campaigns
  • Direct contacts with journalists, talent and influencers
  • Sharp writing and pitching skills
  • Budget and project management capability
  • Familiarity with SEO, analytics, and the evolving media/search landscape
  • Plus points: AI enthusiast, curiosity about machine learning, or an interest in how LLMs index influence.
